complete and total comfort food. we come here for the sundubu, but the bi bim bap is good too. i normally stick with #1 (meat and mushrooms), #2 seafood and meat, #8 rice dumplings, #9 ramen and meat. serving size is good, but not enough for two people to share without ordering something else. bbq is on the pricey side as far as bbq goes (about $20 per plate).

banchan here is okay. recently, there has been a decline in the number of individual dishes that they serve, but they do have the little fishes (my favorite) and they also serve a larger grilled fish which is downright yummy.

they don't serve alcohol, but there is a liquor store just down the block which will paper bag your goods so you can "sneak" in your beers and flasks.
